Technology
This is not your Grandfather’s woodshop. Where possible, we have merged technology into everything we do, offering precision, efficiency, safety…
- 3D modeling, where necessary, is the start of our process to generate customer images, shop drawings… the plans we build from.
- CNC mill/router that can run fully automatic/lights out. Tool paths come from 3D data and custom programming.
- High tech casting epoxies and resins for filling and stabilizing wood.
- Router sled(s) that run on linear rails and bearings capable of flattening slabs or boards at 10’ or less in length x 5’ or less in width.
- Helical cutter heads containing 100’s of individual carbide cutters. These stay sharp longer, reduce the stress on wood and make our jobs easier.
- Air filtration… Fine wood dust can be hazardous. We employ the best dust collection and air filtration the world has to offer, ensuring the environment we work in is safe.
- Adhesives and abrasives that are world class.
- Finishes offering beauty, protection, long-term preservation.
